My 5 year old son has this toy at daycare. He liked it very much and asked for one. Very easy to assemble. Reviews mentioned that it was difficult to insert the sticks into the ball, probably because they did not read the instructions carefully. In fact, all it takes is a slight twist when inserting the stick into the hole.

I’m in love with this toy, I couldn’t wait until Christmas, I gave it to my kids and they love loved it, the poles and balls to connect are great quality. It’s really strong and durable. I was worried it would be small but nope, it was big and pleasantly surprised of the quality and length. We made a fort and after the third layer, I even had to get a chair to connect the pieces, my kids are tall so to have a great stem toy that they can actually fit in was perfect.
