I think I was more excited about this than the kids were. It took a long time to inflate. If you’re planning to take it with you to inflate at the beach, I hope your lungs are ready for work out. I like this, but it ended up not being one of the best parts of the day like I thought it would. That has nothing to do with the quality of the product as much as my estimation of the entertainment that it would provide. I do think that it will come in handy for other things later on. Perhaps it just wasn’t a great choice for crowded beach trip.

Ordered this for a friends pool. We had a lot of laughs with it this summer. It held air well and probably will be used next year. Satisfied

This ball was bought for our community neighborhood pool and it has maintained its shape over the months. It has deflated slightly but that’s to be expected since it’s being used so often over the summer. Just give it a little more air and it’s good for a few more weeks. The kids love this ball as well as the adults. Low maintenance fun.

Perhaps I’ll be able to get it inflated. So far, I’ve tried inflating by mouth and using a manual air-pump and neither method works. Air will not go into the ball. I have ordered an electric-powered air pump, and I’ll see if that works–if not, I will return the ball and not buy the brand again. Be advised that inflating this ball may be a problem.
Update: A battery-powered pump was able to inflate the ball.

These balls were a hit at the backyard party. Kids loved them and were really rough without getting a tear or rip. Only thing, instructions should say you need an adapter for blow up. No chance this can be inflated by mouth.

The beach ball is fine, but as of October 2023, the title of the listing says “Intex 42″ Jumbo Beach Ball.” The diameter / height of the ball is about 28″ instead. Technical details on the listing are at least closer (listing it at 30″), but the title is wrong and I needed a bigger beach ball.

This ball is so giant, and my 4 and 6 yo kids LOVE IT. I bought it for a bday party, where we had a lot of fun with it, but they also love just rolling over it or throwing it to each other to bounce off their heads. Great purchase!
